Short Summary:
Henry Knight reaches out to Sherlock and John. He is emotionally disturbed by the death of his father by a hound monster. They then go ahead to look into Dewer’s Hollow, where the beast was reportedly seen. Sherlock and John eventually unroot a dilemma about a one Baskerville scientist, Dr. Frankland. He continued the project of H.O.U.N.D., an abandoned work that makes a hallucinogenic gas for use in the military. Sherlock and John also discover that the so called hound was actually a dog used for showcase, but the gas makes it look like a deadly monster. The so called “hound” that murdered Henry’s father was in fact, Frankland putting on a red-lensed gas mask and a T-shirt with the logo H.O.U.N.D. group. On facing the dog and Dr. Frankland at the Dewer’s Hollow, John and Lestrade shoots the dog. Frankland tries to escape and dies as he runs into a mine field. Elsewhere, Mycroft sets Jim Moriarty free from confinement.
